Mangroves from the Water, opening tonight at 5pm at the Umm Al Quwain Museum. (GPS: 25.35.04 N , 55.34.13 E).
We have a distinguished guest opening the event: Abdullah Bu Aasaibi, Director of Ministry of Youth and Culture and Social Development (Umm AL Quwain Culture Center).
Please join us 5 pm.
The exhibition continues until Saturday 19th Dec.
And don’t forget, we have free events today and tomorrow sponsored by the Umm Al Quwain Marine Club.
Next weekend, we have another exciting event sponsored by Flamingo Hotel & Resort (more details to follow soon).

Exhibition Opening Umm AL Quwain Museum, 11 December, 5 pm

Take our Mangroves from the Water exhibition opening as an opportunity to also visit this special Fort at the Umm Al Quwain Museum.

Built in 1768 as the residence of the Emiri family and seat of government until 1969. Highlights include the fine majlis (meeting room), old Bedouin jewellery, fancy weapons and interesting archaeological finds.

We are excited to transform this space into an art gallery, to emphasize the importance of preservation of the local heritage along side the natural environment.

Visit the fort, museum and the exhibition until the 19th December.

Saturday – Thursdays, 8-2/ 5-8pm and Friday 5-8pm.

Opening night: Emirates Fine Arts Society, Sharjah, Thursday 12th November

This exhibition runs until 30th November and is open 9am – 1 pm and 5pm – 9pm Saturday – Thursdays.

Environment Agency- Abu Dhabi, Al Mamoura building, Exhibition opening

Here are a few photos of our Mangroves from the Water exhibition at the building of our sponsor, the Environment Agency- Abu Dhabi.

The exhibition runs from 1 – 5 November, before moving to Sharjah next week.
